River Nile is the longest river in the world. It is estimated to be covering a distance of 6,853Km (4,258 miles) and its drainage basin covers 11 countries namely, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, DR Congo, Ethiopia, Eritrea, South Sudan, Sudan and Egypt. The Source of the Nile / starting point is in Jinja, Uganda on Lake Victoria. This package will give you an opportunity to reach that starting point of River Nile.
Mount Elgon National Park lies on the slopes of Mt.Elgon, northeast Uganda. It’s an ideal visit for people who love mountain climbing. Elephants, antelopes and buffaloes can be found on the lower slopes. Black & White Colobus, Blue monkeys and red tailed monkeys are also found in this park.
ITINERARY
NB: Airport pickup from Entebbe and hotel booking in Kampala can be arranged on demand.
DAY 1
07.00hrs. Pick up from your hotel in Kampala or nearby towns.
Transfer to Jinja Town and Have breakfast.
10.00hrs – 12.00hrs. Visit the source of Nile. Boat cruise to the starting point of the Nile and you will see a number of bird species.
12.00hrs Transfer to Mbale town.
14.00hrs – 15.00hrs Have lunch in Mbale town
15.00hrs Transfer to kapchorwa.
16.30hrs. Visit Sipi falls.
18.30hrs. Check in Sipi Falls Resort or Sipi river lodge, for dinner and accommodation.

DAY 2
08.00hrs Breakfast
Transfer to Mt.Elgon National Park. The Vehicle stops at the foot of the mountain and you start the nature walk in the forest where you will see elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, monkeys and different bird species.
12.00hrs Transfer to Mbale town.
13.30hrs – 14.30hrs Lunch in Mbale town.
14.30hrs – 20.00hrs. Transfer back to your hotel in Kampala.

3 – 6 people = USD 600 per person
7 – 12 people = USD 550 per person.
Above 12 people = USD 500 per person.
