Lake Mburo National Park is the closest game Park from Kampala city, Uganda, approximately 4 hours' drive to arrive. It’s endowed with several wildlife that includes Zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, waterbucks, warthogs, to mention a few. A game drive, boat cruise and birdwatching will leave you thrilling. .

Lake Bunyonyi is the deepest lake in Uganda and 2nd in Africa. It has a very beautiful scenery due to its numerous islands (29 in total) hence its view was similated in the famous Black Panther Movie as Wakanda.

Mountain gorillas are only found in 3 countries (Uganda, Rwanda and DR Congo) in the whole world. Half of these Gorillas are found in Uganda. The main gorilla trekking in Uganda is done in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, an 8hours drive from Kampala, in southwest Uganda. Gorillas are creatures that are close to humans in almost every form. This package will give you an up-close moment with these gentle giants.

Queen Elizabeth National Park is the most visited in Uganda. It lies on the equator and lies on the footsteps of Mt Rwenzori. A boat cruise on the Kazinga channel that connects two lakes (Edward and George) will give you a thrilling moment as you will see elephants, hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, waterbucks and a number of bird species. A game drive in the park will leave you breathless.

By 1982, there were no more Rhinos in Uganda due to poaching and wars. Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary was established in 2005 and 4 Rhinos were bought from Kenya & 2 donated from USA. The Sanctuary currently has about 33 Rhinos and soon some will be reintroduced to the National Parks.

Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda's biggest Park, sitting on 5000 square smiles. It has Budongo Natural Forest in the South and Savanah grassland in the North. It’s known for Murchison Falls, the world’s most powerful waterfall, where the River Nile surges through a narrow gap of Rocks, 7 metres wide with massive force. The park is common with elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks, warthogs and occasionally with Lions, Leopards and hyenas.

Kidepo Valley National park is in the Karamojong region, northeast Uganda. In August 2018, CNN, named Kidepo among the best 8 Safari destinations in Africa. The park is known for its breathtaking scenery and numerous mammals that include lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes and birds like ostriches. It lies in the rugged, semi-arid valleys between Uganda's borders with South Sudan & Kenya.

River Nile is the longest river in the world. It is estimated to be covering a distance of 6,853Km (4,258 miles) and its drainage basin covers 11 countries namely, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, DR Congo, Ethiopia, Eritrea, South Sudan, Sudan and Egypt. The Source of the Nile / starting point is in Jinja, Uganda on Lake Victoria. This package will give you an opportunity to reach that starting point of R.Nile.

DAY 1
06.30hrs. Pick up from your hotel in Kampala or a nearby town. Transfer to the Equator spot in Buwama and have breakfast (9.00hrs). Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Have an early lunch (12.00hrs).
14.00hrs - 16.00hrs. Boat Cruise on Lake Mburo seeing animals like Hippos, Crocodiles and many birds. 16.00hrs. Evening game drive in the park seeing Zebras, Giraffes, Impalas, Elands, etc.
18.00hrs - 20.30hrs. Transfer to Kabale town, where you will spend your night at Bunyonyi Overland Resort. (Rambura Safaris Ltd reserves the right to find your another accommodation of the same standard in case Bunyonyi Overland Resort is fully booked on your arrival date)
DAY 2
Have enough sleep.
09.00hrs. Breakfast.
Boat ride on the lake visiting some of the islands. Community hike around the nearby villages. Ziplining on top of the lake. Swimming in the lake (Optional for only good swimmers).
13.00hrs. Lunch.
14.00hrs - 19.00hrs. Transfer to Bwindi National Park
Note: The place of accommodation will be based on, availability of gorilla permits at, a specific sector. There are 4 sectors in Bwindi, namely Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga and Nkuringo.
DAY 3
06.00hrs. Quick Breakfast or Parked Breakfast.
06.30hrs. Transfer to the starting point.
7.00hrs. Briefings and head into the forest to trek for the gorillas. On a good day, it will take you just 1 hour to find them, however, on a bad day, it might be up to 4hours of trekking. When in the presence of the gorillas, you will spend a whole 1 hour with them.
Later, you will be driven back to the Lodge to have Lunch.
Have a rest at the lodge and head out for a community walk in the evening.
Dinner and sleep at leisure

DAY 4
07.00hrs Breakfast and check out
08.00hrs Transfer to Queen Elizabeth.
13.30hrs Lunch at Mweya Canteen.
15.00hrs -17.00 hrs. Boat cruise on Kazinga Channel seeing animals like Hippos, Crocodiles. Elephants, buffaloes and many bird spieces. Evening game drive.
Check in at Simba Safaris Lodge for dinner and accommodation.

DAY 5
06.00hrs. Quick Breakfast
Head out for an early morning game drive.
10.00hrs. Return to the lodge, refresh and check out.
11.00hrs. Transfer to Masindi.
Stopover for Lunch in Fortportal Later evening, arrive in Masindi town, check in at Kabalega Resort. Dinner and sleep.
DAY 6
08.00hrs. Breakfast.
Transfer to Nakasongola to Visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
Lunch at the sanctuary.
15.00hrs. Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park Check in at Sambiya River Lodge.
- Visit the top of murchison falls and enjoy the sun down.
19.00hrs. Transfer back to Lodge for dinner and accommodation
DAY 7
06.00hrs. Quick Breakfast.
Head out for an early morning game drive.
10.00hrs. Drive back to the lodge. Relax, swimming and early lunch.
13.00hrs. Drive to Paara for a Boat cruise on River Nile, to see the bottom of the falls.
17.00hrs. Transfer back to your lodge for dinner, campfire and accommodation.
DAY8
08.00hrs. Breakfast. Transfer from Murchison falls to Kidepo, with a stopover in Gulu town for lunch.
18.00hrs. Check-in at Savannah Safari Lodge, Kidepo National Park. Refresh, have dinner and early to bed. (Rambura Safaris Ltd reserves the right to find you another accommodation of the same standard in case Savanah Safari Lodge is fully booked on your arrival date)
DAY 9
06.00hrs. Quick Breakfast.
Game Drive in the Park where you will see animals like Zebras, Buffaloes, Giraffes, antelopes, to mention a few. Occasionally, you will see lions, cheetahs and wild dogs.
13.00hrs - 14.00hrs Lunch
Have an afternoon nap.
15.00hrs. Visit the local Community of the Karamojong. They have an interesting lifestyle that will leave you amazed.
18.00hrs. Return to the Park for an early dinner at the lodge.
19.00hrs. Head out for a night Game drive.
22.00hrs. Return to the lodge and sleep at leisure.
DAY 10
08.00hrs. Breakfast & Check Out.
09.00hrs. Transfer to Kapchorwa
14.00hrs. Lunch.
Visit the Sipi falls.
Check in at Sipi Valley Resort for dinner and accommodation.
DAY 11

Visit the source of River Nile.
